Top of the Interwebs:

WordPress 3.1 is out. That is all.

Self-aggrandizement:

I speculate on how to build a soundscape into the browser experience.  Not in an Angelfire-annoying way, but in a cool way.

Pwety:

Android activations mapped geographically. Telephone networks have never looked more awesome. (via)

Worth looking at today:

Poynter has a final round-up on the significant staff-cuts of TBD.

Apple continues to have trouble filling advertising stock and has now halved the minimum iAd spend for advertisers.

Keith Olbermann is sitting pretty over at Current. He’s talking big about how he is pretty much completely in charge over there and claims that all other shows must simply make room if he ever goes over his time slot. Oh and he still doesn’t know why he got fired from MSNBC.

MyBlogLog is no more. First Yahoo let it stagnate and rot. Now they have killed it. Goodbye MyBlogLog, you were a great idea and a really useful tool that no one else has been able to supply.

Bloggable is now in the Oxford English Dictionary. Huh? Even I don’t use that word.

Bing now shows your friends’ Facebook likes for search results.
